Jessie Ruberts, 82, of Washington Christian Village, formerly of Blandinsville, died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3 1991, at the village.
Born Dec. 25, 1908, in Blandinsville to Charles and Florence Ashby Fisher, she married Cecil Ruberts March 4, 1941. He died July 29, 1974. She also was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Pauline) Ramsay of Chillicothe and Mrs. Alvin (Elaine) Peterson of Washington; three sisters, Dorothy Cox of Macomb, Madelyn Fenton and Ruth Hobby, both of Blandinsville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Clugston -Tibbitts Funeral Home, Blandinsville, the Rev. Michael Boyle officiating. Visitation will be on hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glade City Cemetery, Blandinsville. |
