Services Wednesday For Cecil Ruberts
Funeral services for Cecil H. Ruberts, 73, of 317-1/2 E. Jefferson St., Macomb, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clugston Chapel in Macomb. Mr. Ruberts died at his home at 11:30 a.m. Monday.
The Rev. E. L. Dunivan will officiate and burial will be a Glade City Cemetery at Blandinsville. Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of services.
Mr. Ruberts was born Sept. 26, 1900, in Henderson County, the son of Edward and Orpha Kraft Ruberts. He married Jessie Fisher Fenton on April 4, 1941. She survives. He spent his early years in Henderson County where he farmed. He resided in LaHarpe before living in Carthage for five years. He then moved west of Tennessee where he stayed for 28 years before moving to Macomb nine months ago. He also worked as a plumber and carpenter. He was a member of the Old Bedford Church.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two step daughters, Mrs. Pauline Ramsay of Chillicothe and Mrs. Elaine Peterson of Washington; six step grandchildren and a brother Lyle Ruberts of Ottowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and two children. |
