    Winter - Firestone wedding 1918
:A very pretty home wedding took place at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. W. L. Firestone, at 3 o'clock Thursday, July 4, when her daughter Mary was united in marriage with Mr. Charles J. Winter of Dover, Rev. Shannaker of Dover officiating. The bride was beautifully gowned in her graduating dress, wearing a long bridal veil and a corsage of roses and carnation. The only attendants were the twin nieces of the bride, Doris and Dorothy Firestone of Wakarusa. A sister of the bride sang an appropriate song before the ceremony. Mrs. Clyde Winters played the accompaniment; she also played the wedding march....Mr. Winter is not known here but is a prosperous farmer of Dover. After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Winter will be at home on the farm at Dover."
