CORWIN, Sarah Ethel (Ward) 96, Lebanon passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Otterbein Home. Born May 11, 1915 in Bybee, KY, the daughter of Henry and Mollie Ward, she was a loving mother and grandmother and a dear friend to many in the Lebanon area. She was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star Lebanon Chapter #343. Preceded in death by her parents, dear husband Louie Mounts Corwin, brothers Frank, Art and James Ward, and sisters Jenny Parham and Betty Gary, she is survived by her dear children Jon Corwin of Lebanon and Kay Sue Ott of Dayton, brother Lester War of Dayton, sister Polly (Edward) Chmiel of Colorado, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation and funeral service was held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Stine & Kilburn Funeral Home, Lebanon with Rev. Kent Swigert officiating. Burial was in the Lebanon Cemetery.

CORWIN, Sarah E. (nee Ward) age 96 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born May 11, 1915 in Bybee, Kentucky, Sarah was the daughter of Henry and Mollie Ward and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Sarah was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church and Lebanon Chapter #343 of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Louie Mounts Corwin in 1979, brothers Frank, Art and James Ward and sisters Jenny Parham and Betty Gary; Sarah leaves behind her son Jon (Vickey) Corwin of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Kay Sue (Corwin) Ott of Vandalia; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother Lester (Roberta) Ward of Dayton, Ohio and one sister Polly (Edward) Chmiel of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Friends may call on the family Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12:00pm with Reverend Kent Swigert officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
