Obituary: Leon Rennie 1929
"Death claimed Leon Allen Rennie, bright little son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Alex Rennie, at 8 o'clock Thursday night at Mercy hospital. The lad had reached the age of 8 years, and was always a favorite among his schoolmates and playmates. He returned from school on Monday, complained of feeling ill, and his condition grew gradually worse, until he was moved to the hospital where he passed away. He leaves his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Rennie; one sister, Mary, of Hamilton, and two grandparents of Richmond, Ky. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, 420 South G street, with burial in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call after 3 o'clock this afternoon."
