"David D. Fritts, 90, died at 8:30 a. m. today at his home on Race street after a lingering illness. He was a native of Madison county, a son of the late Manuel and Sallie (Sarah) Combs Fritts, and was a member of the Flatwoods Christian church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Azbill Fritts, of Richmond; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Stephens, of Route 1, Richmond; two grand-children, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Oldham, Rob-erts, Powell and Duncan funeral home. The Rev. A. C. Duncan will be in charge of the ceremony. Burial will be in the Richmond cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Flem Azbill, Nathan Azbill, Arthur Perkins, George O'Donnell, Homer Fritts and Hubert Fritts.
