Mrs. Elmer White of Blandinsville Dies
Mrs. Emma Cleveland White, wife of Elmer White of Blandinsville, died about 2:30 p.m. yesterday at her home following and illness of three months with a heart ailment. Funeral arrangement have not been made, pending word from two sons in service, Sgt. Fay White of Fort Ord, Calif., and Pvt. Harry White of Shreveport, La.
She was born November 16, 1884 At Blandinsville to Thomas and Nancy Ashly. On april 3, 1901 she married Elmer White. Mrs. White has been a member of the Baptist Church for the past 40 years. Surviving are her mother, husband, and the following children: Sgt. White, Pvt. White, Lorrraine at home, Ehrman of Blandinsville, Mrs Rose Rayl of Blandinsville, and Lyle of LaHarpe. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Florence Fisher of Blandinsville, Mrs. Nellie Nielson of East Moline, and Mrs. Pearl Hardisty of Macomb. One child, one sister and two brothers are deceased.
