Surname spelled in correctly throughout. Should read Kaylor. "Richard J. Kahlor, 56, died Saturday morning at 6:35 o'clock at his home, 19 Clay street. The deceased was a member of the Northside Baptist church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Sarah Kahlor, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Willie Ballard, and a son, George A. Kahlor, both of Winchester. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the Northside Baptist church with the Rev. Clark Swaim, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Winchester cemetery." |

"Mrs. Sarah Keeton Kaylor, 75, widow of Richard Kaylor, died at 7:40 p.m. Friday at a Lexington hospital. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, George Kaylor, Winchester fire chief; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ballard, Clark county; a brother, John Keeton, Richmond; and four sisters, Mrs. Rachel Smith, Mrs. Mollie Collins and Mrs. Lydia James, all of Madison county, and Mrs. Nan Sexton, Greenup, Tenn. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the residence, 19 Clay Street, by the Rev. William Reed, pastor of the North-side Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Winchester cemetery." |

"George Allen Kaylor, 44, assistant fire chief, died at 10:45 a.m. today at his home on Clay Street, following a heart attack. Mr. Kaylor served a term as fire chief following an appointment on June 10, 1952. He resigned from that position on Aug. 25, 1953. He had served with the city fire department more than ten years and had worked his regular shift Monday, prior to his death. Mr. Kaylor was born in Madison County and was a son of the late R. J. and Sarah Keaton Kaylor, He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. His wife, Mrs. Edith Bridges Kaylor, is his only survivor." |

"Funeral services for George Allen Kaylor, 44, assistant fire chief, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the grave in the Winchester Cemetery by the Rev. W. T. Dunaway....Mr. Kaylor, who had been associated with the fire department for the past 10 years, died Tuesday morning of a heart attack at his home on Clay Street. He was a native of Madison County, and was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. The body has been moved from the Scobee Funeral Home to the residence on Clay Street." |

"William Caylor (should be Kaylor), 20, fell backward from a box one-foot high at the Kentucky Flooring Company, Cook Avenue. Thursday morning at 9:30 o-clock and died in thirty minutes later due to fracture of the base of the skull. He expired when being removed from an ambulance at the Clark County Hospital. Caylor was working on an overhead at the plant where he is employed, using a box to stand on. His equilibrium was destroyed by a tilting of the base. and be fell suddenly, the back of his head striking the floor. The wound bled profusely, more than a pint of bloody water coming from the injured skull. The deceased is survired by a wife, formerly Miss Stokler, whom he married recently. His home is on Mutual Avenue in North Park." |

"Funeral services for James Kaylor, 58, brother of Charles Kaylor of Clark county, were conducted Sunday afternoon at the College Hill Methodist Church, Madison county, by the Rev. Howard Donohue. Mr. Kaylor, a College Hill farmer, died Friday night at Gibson hosptial, Richmond. He was a member of the College Hill Methodist Church. In addition to his brother, survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lou Ingram Kaylor; three daughters, Mrs. Hallie Todd, Hamilton, Ohio; Miss Katherine Kaylor, Madison county and Mrs. Maude Kealon, Lexington; two sons, Ed and Jerry Kaylor, Madison county; two other brothers, Herbert and John Kaylor, Madison county; five sisters, Mrs. Lillard Sewell, Mrs. Tillie Cain, Miss Issie Kaylor, Miss Belle Kaylor, Madison county; Mrs. Alma Young. Hamilton, Ohio; four grandchildren, and a great-grand-child." |
